Senior Analyst / Associate

We are Roosh, a Ukrainian company that creates and invests in AI and ML-focused projects. Our business-ecosystem is composed of venture firm Roosh Ventures, Ukrainian AI/ML community AI HOUSE, R&D company Neurons Lab, and startups Reface, AdLight and ZibraAI. Roosh aims to build Ukraine as the European center for artificial intelligence.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Analyst / Associate who dares to go beyond average. You will join a team of game changers led by Yura Sachenok and Tania Yaroshenko. They are focusing on a new investment and co-building strategy. If you are passionate about moving companies from zero to one as much as we are, then ready, steady, Roosh.

You will:

• analyze new opportunities, prepare summaries and presentations for the internal committee; lead investment reports with an investment decision based on a deep analysis of their market, product, financial performance, and team,
• participate in execution of investment transactions (due diligence, negotiations, transaction documents, closing),
• conduct deep market and business analytics on clients and external data,
• prepare summaries and presentations for the team and our partners,
• play a significant role in team through the insights from your analysis,
• conduct researches of new trends, implement new approaches and techniques,
• consult for Roosh ecosystem projects, including Zibra AI, Gathers, AI House and other portfolio companies,
• develop and optimize the business processes in your team and department.

About you:

• 3+ years of experience with investments (Big 4, IB, PE, VC),
• strong understanding of finance, business and investment processes,
• ability to adapt to the high level of uncertainty and moving targets, proactive mindset,
• strong communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions,
• great command of PowerPoint and Excel Advanced English,
• experience of working with early stage startups, close collaboration with founders and understanding of a product development lifecycle is a plus,
• understanding / experience of working with AI/ML is a plus,
• bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration will be a plus.
