Zibra AI is a company that develops real-time volumetric VFX technologies for games and virtual production. We provide advanced technologies for simulating liquid, smoke, and fire in game engines. ZibraVDB, one of our technologies, is designed for compressing and rendering VDB sequences in real-time with a small memory footprint. It allows for the rendering of large VDBs, be that 1GB or 50GB, at 60 FPS.

We have a robust team of professionals in computer graphics and gaming, and we're seeking a technical artist to enhance our team.

Zibra AI is a part of Roosh Investment Group, that scales remarkable businesses globally.

You will:

  • develop technical and art demos using our technology stack for games and cinema,
  • create VFX and develop production pipelines for clients,
  • test and enhance our products.

About you:

  • profound understanding of Unreal Engine and all its components,
  • fundamental knowledge of Houdini, specifically SOP and DOP networks,
  • basic modeling and texturing skills,
  • material creation in Unreal Engine,
  • basic experience with volumetric VFX in any software: EmberGen, Houdini Pyro, Axiom, Niagara Fluids, or others.
  • familiarity with traditional 2D VFX pipelines,
  • solid understanding of GPU rendering pipelines, including knowledge of raymarching techniques,
  • basic GPU profiling and performance optimization skills,
  • knowledge of Blueprints or UE C++ API.

Personal Qualities:

  • being comfortable with the startup’s working culture,
  • ability to work independently and take initiative in driving projects forward,
  • possesses a product-oriented mindset, focusing on delivering high-quality outcomes,
  • ability to collaborate effectively as a team member, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment,
  • excellent problem-solving skills, able to navigate through complex issues,
  • strong communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and effectively.

Will be a plus:

  • advanced Houdini skills: VEX, ROP, TOP,
  • advanced volumetric VFX creation skills in EmberGen or Houdini,
  • good knowledge of Substance Designer,
  • skills working with animations and rigs in UE,
  • artistic taste: understanding frame composition, cinematic lighting, and visual narrative,
  • compositing and color grading in DaVinci Resolve.
